Kylie's First Soccer Game

She followed the ball, kicked it a few times, and didn't cry when she got knocked down. It was a great first game!

Welcome to Resonate Community Church in Hutto, Texas

Resonate Community Church is a new and growing church in Hutto, Texas that seeks to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope. Our name explains a lot about our approach to "church". We simply want to resonate community. We want to be known for our love for each other and for our neighbors and the people of Hutto. So, for the past year and a half, we have been serving our community by helping with Orange Santa and Treats on East Street, assisting local elementary schools, and hosting neighborhood events to establish new relationships. We have also been building friendships with others who connect with these values. Our friendships have grown to where we regularly share meals, have playdates, and just hang out together.

This is what Jesus meant when he said, "The world will know you are my followers when you love one another." When we grow close to God, we grow close to others. Love is the heartbeat of Christ, and as his followers, we are called to do the same.

"Church" is more than an event on Sunday. We want to engage in the the lives of those around us, to develop friendships with others where--regardless of their background or beliefs--they can feel loved and cared for. So, rather than investing our time and money into making an event happen, we've been working on sharing our lives with others around us. A meal, a conversation, a helping hand, a prayer of support. These small things are really what "church" is all about.

After spending this time investing in our community, we are ready to make another investment. Beginning the Saturday after Easter, we hope to host regular monthly worship services. We will kick things off with a preview party, where others can discover the impact that Resonate Community Church has had on the families in our community. If you are interested in learning more about our church and meeting the people who have become a family, this would be a great time for you to check us out. In April, we will host a Bible study where you can learn more about the values of our church and how we are expressing those values in a meaningful way. Maybe you think this whole church-thing isn't for you. You've had your fair share of judgment and scorn from those who claim to be righteous. We hope to become a place where you can find genuine love and care. Real friendships, where you are valued beyond your attendance record or financial offerings.
